This weekend in Denver, celebrate the Irish, attend one of the strangest festivals in the area or enjoy deals from local Black-owned restaurants.
1. ☘️ St. Patrick's Day events
Enjoy St. Patrick's Day weekend with a variety of events, races and drink specials around Denver.
If you go: We rounded up three St. Paddy's celebrations.
🎉 St. Patrick's Day Parade: Head downtown for this 60-year-old tradition. Free
- When: 9:30am Saturday
- Location: The parade route begins at Wynkoop and 19th streets and ends on 27th and Blake streets.
🏃 Lucky Leprechaun 5K: Put on your green gear for a morning run followed by live Irish music and dancing, and an Irish breakfast burrito with a choice of beer from Twisted Pine Brewing Company. Register
- If you go: This race also counts as a qualifier for the BolderBoulder 10K in May.

💋 Kiss Me, I'm Irish Bar Crawl: Grab drink specials from a dozen bars all weekend, including $2.50 mystery shots at Swanky's, $5 green Coors Light at ViewHouse and $6 beer and shot at Wide Right. Tickets
- Cost: Starting at $15 per person; $45 for a group of four
- Registration: 6pm–11pm Friday, 4pm–10pm Saturday, 2pm–8pm Sunday

2. 💀 Frozen Dead Guy Days
- Head to Estes Park for a four-day celebration that includes a bar crawl, coffin races, live performances, a fashion show, a bloody mary brunch, a tattoo pop-up and multiple parties including the Royal Blue Ball. Tickets start at $50
- Dates: Thursday–Sunday
- Location: Estes Park Events Complex
3. 🍽️ Black Restaurant Week
- This event is back for the second year. Enjoy discounts from local restaurants including TK's Surf and Turf and MyKings Ice Cream.
- Dates: Friday through March 24
4. 🐳 Orcas: Our Shared Future
- The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is opening a new exhibit that details the public perception of orcas (and includes life-size replicas) and examines their connection to humanity. Tickets

5. 🎵 Meduza
- The Grammy-nominated EDM duo and James Hype will perform sets at the Mission Ballroom 9pm Saturday. Tickets start at $78
