Denver weekend events: St. Paddy's Day events, Frozen Dead Guy Days and more

This weekend in Denver, celebrate the Irish, attend one of the strangest festivals in the area or enjoy deals from local Black-owned restaurants.

1. ☘️ St. Patrick's Day events

Enjoy St. Patrick's Day weekend with a variety of events, races and drink specials around Denver.

🎉 St. Patrick's Day Parade: Head downtown for this 60-year-old tradition. Free

  • When: 9:30am Saturday
  • Location: The parade route begins at Wynkoop and 19th streets and ends on 27th and Blake streets.

🏃 Lucky Leprechaun 5K: Put on your green gear for a morning run followed by live Irish music and dancing, and an Irish breakfast burrito with a choice of beer from Twisted Pine Brewing Company. Register

💋 Kiss Me, I'm Irish Bar Crawl: Grab drink specials from a dozen bars all weekend, including $2.50 mystery shots at Swanky's, $5 green Coors Light at ViewHouse and $6 beer and shot at Wide Right. Tickets

  • Registration: 6pm–11pm Friday, 4pm–10pm Saturday, 2pm–8pm Sunday

  • This event is back for the second year. Enjoy discounts from local restaurants including TK's Surf and Turf and MyKings Ice Cream.

4. 🐳 Orcas: Our Shared Future

  • The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is opening a new exhibit that details the public perception of orcas (and includes life-size replicas) and examines their connection to humanity. Tickets
  • Dates: Opens Friday
  • Cost: $34 adult; $27 child (3–18)
