Say sayonara to the workweek.

It's time to have some fun:

🚂 Climb aboard the Polar Express Train, which makes its return to Golden this weekend and runs on select dates through Dec. 23. The magical jaunt includes a cabaret-style show, singing, hot cocoa, cookies — and, of course, Santa.

🌮 Come hungry and with an open heart to the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver this Friday for Let's Taco 'Bout It – Tacos & Positive Self Talk, a ticketed event about the importance of practicing self-compassion.

🏀 Cheer on the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena this evening or Sunday, when they play the Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers, respectively. Tickets start at $21.

🍹 On Saturday afternoon, head to Mile High Spirits for an afternoon of bloodies and Bluegrass, featuring $20 bottomless bloody marys and live music on the patio.

🏒 Support the Colorado Avalanche as they compete against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday at Ball Arena. Tickets start at $46.

🦖 If dinosaurs are your jam, Jurassic Quest returns to the Convention Center this weekend. The event includes more than 100 true-to-life-size dinosaurs that roar and move.

🏈 Watch the Denver Broncos face the Philadelphia Eagles at Empower Field at Mile High this Sunday. Tickets are steep — but a bar seat at your favorite local watering hole isn't.

👟 Lace up your sneakers and head to City Park on Sunday morning for the Denver Veterans Day Run, which includes a 5K, 10K and virtual options for participants. Proceeds benefit local veterans through the Colorado Veterans Project.
