If your pet's name is Luna, don't be surprised if a few extra dogs — or cats — come running when you call.

State of play: Rover released its top pet names for 2026, based on data from its network of more than a million pet parents.

The top five in Cleveland are:

🐶 Dogs: Luna, Daisy, Bella, Charlie, Bear

🐱 Cats: Luna, Pepper, Kitty, Oliver, Bean

Zoom in: Nugget is Cleveland's fastest-trending dog name, surging a whopping 1,022% in popularity since last year, followed by Jasper and Millie.

The intrigue: Cleveland pet owners appear to be drawing inspiration from local sports, landmarks and personalities.

Names like Myles, Gilbert, Watson, Cuyahoga, Harbor, Buckeye and Brutus all made Rover's list.

What we're watching: Will there be an uptick in Guardians names next year?
