Cleveland State University is getting a $10 million donation from alumnus Monte Ahuja and his family foundation to overhaul a business school that already bears his name.

Why it matters: The mega-gift will support business curriculum changes across the board to emphasize entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

Zoom in: Roughly 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students attend CSU's business college, which was renamed in honor of Ahuja following a previous $10 million gift in 2011.

The name will be tweaked from the "Monte Ahuja College of Business" to the "Ahuja College of Business and Entrepreneurship," CSU president Laura Bloomberg announced this week.

Flashback: Ahuja developed Transtar Industries while pursuing his MBA at CSU, launching the company in 1975.

The big picture: The latest donation makes the Ahuja family and foundation CSU's largest lifetime donors.
