By the numbers: Atlanta was the most popular domestic destination from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport from July 2025 through June 2026, with 454,000 passengers flying between the cities, according to new U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics data.
Between the lines: The top 10 destinations include a mix of vacation hot spots and major connecting hubs.
Three Florida airports made the list, while Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Charlotte and Newark offer Cleveland travelers connections to destinations around the world.
The intrigue: Las Vegas doesn't crack the top 10 despite its popularity with Cleveland travelers — though United's newly launched year-round service could give the route a boost.
The big picture: Hopkins handled about 9.4 million domestic passengers during the 12 months ending in June, down roughly 1% from the previous year.
United remained CLE's largest carrier, accounting for 23.5% of passengers, just ahead of Frontier at 21.5%.
