The reunion episodes in past seasons of "Love Is Blind" have been criticized for being uneventful — that wasn't the case in Season 10.
State of play: This season of Netflix's reality series was set in Ohio, with the reunion bringing back the daters from Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati.
⚠️ Spoiler warning: Potential spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the reunion.
The intrigue: Things start with Nick Lachey doing an awkward OH-IO chant, just in case you forgot where the season was set.
- The focus quickly turns to Season 10's dream couple, Victor St. John and Christine Hamilton, who are still married and still "nauseatingly perfect," according to Lachey.
- TurboTax is sponsoring a honeymoon for the couple, who missed out on the season's Mexico trip.
Zoom in: Christine moves from Cleveland to Columbus with Victor, who is an Ohio State professor.
- We also learn that Medina resident Devonta Anderson has moved to Arizona and is roommates with fellow contestant and Westlake native Alex Henderson.
- Devonta, who dumped his fiancée during the season, is now engaged to a different Ohio woman (who was not on the show) and expecting a child. He doesn't come off looking great.
Friction point: The reunion's most dramatic moment comes from Columbus resident Jordan Faeth and Mount Vernon nurse Amber Morrison, who got married in the finale but split up four months later.
- Their reunion conversation is hard to watch. An emotional Amber storms off the stage when the subject of her daughter being sad about the breakup comes up.
This season's villain, Columbus' Chris Fusco, spends the reunion getting ridiculed for body shaming Columbus physician Jessica Barrett and then trying to creep on another guy's fiancée.
- Jessica is now dating Haramol Gill, a fellow Columbus doctor who was a contestant on the show but received minimal screen time.
Between the lines: Clevelander Mike Gibney said "no" to Emma Betsinger at the altar and is now dating someone new.
- Bri McNees called off her wedding with Connor Spies, but the two are still dating and living next to each other in Columbus.
💭 Troy's thought bubble: This season's reunion did not shy away from the drama, which made it more interesting.
- As for this season being indicative of Ohio's dating scene overall, let's hope not.
