👋🏾 Troy, here, informing you there's one last chance to go on a prehistoric journey at Miller Nature Preserve in Avon this weekend.
The intrigue:"Discovering Dinosaurs" — a showcase of artifacts, life-sized replicas, interactive games and more — runs through tomorrow afternoon, inside the preserve's conservatory.
I took my kids last weekend. They wouldn't let me leave until we completed a scavenger hunt for hidden dinosaurs.
State of play: It was crowded with kids and strollers.
I recommend arriving right when it opens at 10am if possible.
A view from inside the Butterfly House at Miller Nature Preserve.
The big picture: Miller Nature Preserve is more than just the conservatory.
It sits on 145 acres of woodlands, featuring plenty of hiking trails and a stunning butterfly house that's open during the summer.
If you go: Tickets to the conservatory are $4. It's open from 10am-5pm.
