Ohio to search in "Survivor 50" scavenger hunt

CBS is giving Ohioans a chance to win an invitation for themselves and a guest to witness the "Survivor" season finale in person, but they'll have to start searching.

State of play: The "Survivor 50 Challenge" is a scavenger hunt for 50 hidden immunity idols placed across all 50 states.

• The competition series' 50th season begins airing Feb. 25 and winners will be invited to attend the live finale in Los Angeles on May 20.

Zoom in: Each state will hold its own unique challenge. There's no telling where Ohio's might be hidden.

• A clue is scheduled to drop Feb. 3.

How it works: Fans can visit Survivor50Challenge.com to register and sign up for alerts to find out when the clue will drop in their state.

• Once the idol is found, players must snap a photo and submit it to the site.
