I understand "Wicked: For Good" wasn't as (ahem) good as its predecessor, but zero nominations? 😵💫

I've seen only six of the 10 nominees, but "One Battle After Another" is my movie of the year, running away.
💭 Thought bubble: Wes Anderson has been producing such original, whimsical works of art for so long that we may be growing desensitized to how special they are. I think "The Phoenician Scheme" deserved a nod for production design.
"Eddington" probably hit too close to home for the Academy, but Joaquin Phoenix's performance was worthy of recognition, even in a stacked Best Actor category.
