John Mellencamp bringing "Dancing Words Tour" to Blossom in 2026

Add a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer to the list of artists coming to Northeast Ohio in 2026.

Driving the news: John Mellencamp's "Dancing Words Tour" will stop at Blossom Music Center on July 21.

Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday, Jan. 23.

The intrigue: The 2008 Rock Hall inductee performed at Blossom as recently as 2024 as part of the Outlaw Music Festival.

He also performed back-to-back nights at Connor Palace in 2023.

Yes, but: Mellencamp is known for avoiding some of his biggest hits live, including "Dance Naked," "Wild Night" and "Get a Leg Up."

This tour is billed, in a press release, as Mellencamp "performing all his most beloved songs in a single night, some of which haven't been played live in many years."

The big picture: Mellencamp joins a 2026 Blossom lineup that already includes Jack Johnson, Mötley Crüe, Evanescence, Hardy and more.
