Heading to your favorite bar over the next few weeks? You might not recognize it.
Why it matters: Holiday pop-up bars have become all the rage in Northeast Ohio over the past few years, giving nightlight scenesters a reason to venture out in the cold.
There are dozens of holiday-themed social spots this season. We chose six to provide your Santa snack fix and a holiday hangover:
🧑🎄 Flats East Bank
The Flats has a trio of pop-up locations — Xmas Bar at Hi5, the Winter Lodge Rooftop in the Glamper space above it and Christmas Cowboys, the seasonal version of I Hate Cowboys country bar next door.

Around the Corner in Lakewood is a local pioneer of the holiday pop-up bar, offering Christmas karaoke and wall-to-wall décor to dazzle your senses.

🛷 Sleigh
Jack Cleveland Casino's holiday bar offers Christmas-themed cocktails and food inside the historic Higbee Building featured in "A Christmas Story."
- Open 6pm-2am daily through Dec. 27 (and open on New Year's Eve).
Great Lakes Brewing's basement holiday bar is everything you love about Cleveland's landmark brewery, plus special mixed drinks and all the Christmas Ale you can handle.

Society Lounge on East 4th Street is hosting the swankiest holiday party in town with sophisticated Christmas décor and fancy cocktails.
- 4pm-midnight Sunday-Thursday and 4pm-1am Friday and Saturday, through Dec. 31.
Southern Tier Brewing's taproom is now a winter wonderland with a bevy of holiday cocktails and photo opportunities.
