Cleveland Hopkins is no longer the worst midsize airport in the country

By the numbers: Hopkins improved slightly with 611 out of 1,000 total points vs. last year's 580 — and edged out Edmonton (602).

• Like last year, Indianapolis (713) took the cake in the midsize category.

Reality check: Though Hopkins is attempting to improve the traveler experience with hospitality initiatives, it will likely hover near the bottom of these rankings until the terminal modernization plan is complete.

• The $1.6 billion CLEvolution project should drastically improve the airport's ticketing and security experience.
