Morgan Wallen is what Cleveland country fans want this weekend

If Morgan Wallen is the problem, hordes of Northeast Ohio country music fans will be the solution this weekend.

Why it matters: The country megastar's "I'm the Problem Tour" is expected to draw more than 120,000 people to Huntington Bank Field for shows Friday and Saturday.

The intrigue: Jolene's Honky Tonk has been hosting "Wallen Week," featuring country performers each day, and has pre- and post-show parties planned this weekend.

FWD Day + Nightclub in the Flats will host country DJs both nights. Holiday Boat Charters is offering pre-concert cruises along the Cuyahoga River.
Other events will take place at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Welcome to the Farm, Southern Tier Brewing and West Park Station.

Flashback: Wallen has come a long way since performing as an opening act at the 2017 WGAR Country Jam at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

He currently has the No. 1 album in the U.S. and four songs — including the smash "What I Want" featuring Tate McRae — in the top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.

If you go: Limited tickets are still available, starting at $129 for Friday and $190 for Saturday.

Gates open at 4:30pm with Miranda Lambert opening Friday and Thomas Rhett on Saturday. Gavin Adcock and Zach John King serve as openers on both nights.

Be smart: Head downtown early. The Guardians are hosting the Atlanta Braves at Progressive Field both nights.
