Machine Gun Kelly to celebrate "Lost Americana" with MGK Day

Cleveland's annual MGK Day arrives this weekend, timed with the release of Machine Gun Kelly's new album "Lost Americana."

The intrigue: The celebration is headlined by a free festival from 2-9pm Sunday downtown on Mall C, featuring live performances by MGK and guests.

Other events include an opening night concert Friday at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica and a skateboarding showcase at North Coast Yard on Saturday, followed by a bar crawl in the Flats East Bank.

The big picture: Machine Gun Kelly releases his seventh studio album, "Lost Americana," Friday.

The release was preceded by the singles "Cliché," "Vampire Diaries" and "Miss Sunshine," as well as a trailer narrated by Bob Dylan.
