When and where to see fireworks in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio

Northeast Ohio skies will light up over the next few days with Independence Day fireworks shows.

State of play: Downtown's annual "Light Up the Lake" fireworks celebration features two free watch parties Friday at Voinovich Park behind the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and in the North Coast Yard behind Huntington Bank Field.

Both events run from 5-10pm with fireworks starting at dusk.

What we're watching: Blossom Music Center will host its annual "Salute to America" concert Thursday and Friday with fireworks on both nights. Tickets start at $25.

Meanwhile, the Guardians will set off fireworks after their games against the Detroit Tigers on Friday and Saturday.
