Brews on Tues: Noble Beast in the wild

👋 Sam here. Friday was such a glorious afternoon that my wife and I dashed to Ohio City's Heart of Gold after work for a happy beverage to kickstart the weekend.

Beer of the week: Noble Beast's Union Pils.

State of play: This golden Czech-style pilsner is one of Noble Beast's staples. It's sold in 16-oz. cans at select area bars and retailers.

• At 4.9% ABV, it's bursting with both fruity and floral springtime aromas and was a pleasure to sip on Heart of Gold's sun-drenched back patio before the Cavs game.

Between the lines: Noble Beast says the beer is "lagered horizontally for two months for clarity of flavor."

My take: I'll take their word for it, because the flavor sure slaps!
