If last year you waited until summer to sell your home, you probably unloaded it at a premium.
By the numbers: Cleveland homes listed during the second half of June 2024 sold for 3.7% more — typically $8,600 — than any other time of year, according to a new Zillow report.
The big picture: The "best time to sell," per Zillow researchers, depends on where you live.
- That's typically May for most markets, but for cities like Cleveland, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Indianapolis and others, premium sale time is June.
- West Coast cities like San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles saw sale prices jump earlier in March and April.
