With spring training in full swing and Opening Day a few weeks away, you can expect the Guardians to have one of the more patient fanbases in all of MLB.
The big picture: A national survey of 2,000 baseball fans by sports platform Promo Guy examined how quickly different fanbases lose faith when their team is on a losing streak.
- Guardian fans lose faith after 11 straight losses. Only fans of the Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays are more patient.
Zoom in: Local fans didn't have much to complain about last season as the Guardians won the American League Central under new manager Stephen Vogt.
- Cleveland lost the American League Championship Series to the New York Yankees in five games.
What's next: The Guardians open the 2025 regular season in Kansas City against the Royals on March 27.
- Opening Day at Progressive Field is April 8 versus the Chicago White Sox.
