Right-wing podcaster tells Bibb: "You're almost a Republican"

The other side: "I'm an old-school Bill Clinton Democrat," Bibb specified.

Between the lines: Groisman previously served as mayor of a small Florida town, and both men agreed that national partisan politics were often very far removed from city management.

• "There's no Republican way to fix a pothole," Bibb said. "There's no Democratic way to create a job."
