You won't have difficulty finding elaborate Halloween decorations around Northeast Ohio.
Why it matters: Just about every neighborhood has a house looking to scare the bejesus out of you.
Zoom in: Some have even made their mark on social media like the "Monster House" in Lakewood equipped with inflatable squid tentacles.
Here are 10 more must-see Halloween decorations in the area:
The home at Tacoma Avenue and East 30th Street in Lorain has a new display every year.
- For 2024, it's a prison scene with skeleton inmates headed to death row.
The display on Story Road in Rocky River features a creepy squid coming out of the ground, a giant skeleton with a pumpkin head and a nasty spider net under spooky lighting.
- Beware of the gargoyle guarding the home's entrance.

The oversized werewolf and spider on Edgefield Drive in Elyria will startle you.
Yes, but: This year's standout item is a haunted pirate ship that looks like a twisted version of "Pirates of the Caribbean."

The creepy carnival on Paisley Drive in North Olmsted features an eye-popping projection show that should give nightmares to those scared of clowns.
- You can stop by the booths during the daytime to play carnival games for prizes.
The lawn on River Road in Olmsted Falls wins for the best jack-o-lantern, with two giant skeletons flanking a terrifying, 11-foot-tall pumpkin.
The Meister family's display is live from dusk until 10pm daily at Abels Avenue in Painesville.
- The graveyard features a light show with corresponding audio that plays on 99.9FM as you pass by.
Elmwood Road in Bay Village is a community effort with most of the residents creating shocking displays.
- Highlights include a vampire tomb, a haunted pirate ship, a fairy garden and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
The house on Buechner Avenue in Old Brooklyn has everything you can think of, from witches and skeletons to grim reapers and horror icons.
- It is open for walk-throughs during select hours this weekend.
The DIY haunted house on Westbrook Drive in Brook Park has a spooky orphanage theme and hosts walk-throughs with live actors.
- There is a $10 fee for adults and $5 for kids under 11.
The home on Lincoln Avenue in Parma is on trend this year with a live performer playing Art the Clown from the "Terrifier" franchise.
