Dinner + a show: Ghosts and goblins

'Tis the season for eerie things and the Cleveland Museum of Art is capitalizing with an exhibit from Eastern culture.

The intrigue: "Demons, Ghosts and Goblins in Chinese Art" opened earlier this month and runs through Jan. 20 in the museum's Focus Gallery.

• It features 20 paintings and sculptures of creatures that both attract and ward off evil spirits, as well as the stories behind them.

Between the lines: The collection of colorful, Chinese glass "Tomb Guardians" is hard to look away from.

If you go: The exhibit is included with CMA's free admission.
