More than 180 Ohio breweries are selling commemorative pint glasses today to benefit the Ohio Craft Brewers Association (OCBA).
State of play: It's Ohio Pint Day, the fifth annual promotion featuring limited-edition collectible glassware.
By the numbers: There are 14,500 glasses in all. One dollar from each purchase will benefit OCBA, the state's nonprofit brewery guild.
Per an OCBA press release, the method of sale will vary: "Some breweries may sell the glass filled with the customer's choice of beer, others may include the glass with a crowler or growler purchase to go, still others may sell the glass individually."
Zoom in: OCBA commissioned artist Sam Baird of Ohio's LemonGrenade Creative to design this year's glass.
What they're saying: "Taking a lot of inspiration from early airplane designs, I wanted a fun, retro feeling with lots of movement," Baird wrote in an artist's statement.
"[I]t was nice to step back in time and appreciate the past achievements of our fellow Ohioans. But in short, planes are cool!"
Stop by: The glasses will be available at 28 locations in Northeast Ohio.
