Billy Joel headlines busy night in downtown Cleveland

Two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, the biggest female rap star of all time and the Guardians on a roll.

Driving the news: It will be a busy night in Cleveland as Billy Joel and Rod Stewart co-headline a concert at Huntington Bank Field at 7pm.

The Guardians play at 7:10pm at Progressive Field and Nicki Minaj takes the stage at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse at 9pm.

The intrigue: Joel's concert is his first-ever show with Stewart.

The Rock Hall will host a Fan Day event today on the front plaza that includes a live performance from the museum's house band, The Mechanics, and special artifacts on display
One such item: Joel's 1977 Harley Davidson XLCR Cafe Racer.

Between the lines: The Guardians are still competing for the best record in the American League as they host the Tampa Bay Rays with the regular season winding down.

Meanwhile, Minaj's Pink Friday 2 World Tour is her biggest trek yet and first concert in Cleveland since 2012.

Be smart: Various streets will have parking restrictions, while other roads and exit ramps will be closed until 1am.
