Major League Baseball's All-Star weekend concludes tonight with the annual All-Star Game at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Why it matters: The Guardians have five players in the game — pitcher Emmanuel Clase, starting position players José Ramírez and Steven Kwan, and reserves Josh Naylor and David Fry.
By the numbers: This is both Ramírez and Clase's third All-Star game. Kwan, Naylor and Fry made it for the first time.
The intrigue: It's already been a busy All-Star weekend for the Guardians. Cleveland selected Oregon State second baseman Travis Bazzana with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 MLB draft on Sunday.
Ramírez participated in last night's Home Run Derby.
The big picture: Cleveland entered the All-Star break with the best record in the American League at 58-37.
The Guardians are in first place in the American League Central.
How to watch: Tonight's All-Star game will air on Fox.
