The Cavs welcomed a new face this week as three-fifths of their starting lineup struggles to get back on the court.

Why it matters: NBA veteran Marcus Morris Sr. signed a 10-day contract and immediately contributed off the bench, scoring 14 points and draining four three-pointers in Monday's win.

Record: (43-25); Last week: (41-24)

Weekly slate: Win at New Orleans (116-95); Loss at Houston (117-103); Win at Indiana (108-103).

The big picture: The Cavs are the Eastern Conference's No. 3 seed with 14 games remaining.

  • No one's catching the Boston Celtics, but seeds 2-8 will probably shift daily in the season's homestretch.

💪 Weekly winner: Georges Niang. The G-Wagon is the only Cavalier to have played in all 68 games this season and has started for the injured Evan Mobley in the past seven.

  • He's scoring more than 14 points per game, shooting nearly 50% from long range, during that stretch.

🤕 Weekly loser: Donovan Mitchell. With his latest injury, Mitchell no longer qualifies for end-of-season awards due to games missed.

ICYMI: Dean Wade appeared on NBA analyst's Zach Lowe's podcast to discuss his heroics in the March 5 comeback win against Boston.

What's next: Tonight vs. Miami; Friday at Minnesota; Sunday at Miami; Monday vs. Charlotte.
