A near west side location that formerly housed the northern satellite of an Ohio brewery will soon host another.

Brewing the news: Royal Docks, the Canton-based brewery, will open its fourth location at the COhatch coworking space in Hingetown.

It will be Royal Docks' first foray in Cuyahoga County.

Catch up quick: The 90-seat brewpub was previously occupied by Columbus-based brewery North High.

Between the lines: The location will open as Tied House, a Royal Docks taproom that will feature mostly their own beers and pub grub staples.

  • Brewer Dave Sutula told Cleveland Scene that the location could open in as little as two months, as soon as state licensing is sorted out.

Zoom in: The name Royal Docks is an homage the docks of London's East End.

  • Sutula's founding partner, John Bikis, lived in London with his wife, Adriana, and wanted to bring the "vibrant pub culture" of England to Northeast Ohio.
  • Bikis and Sutula founded the brewery in 2015.
