What we know about Machine Gun Kelly's new tattoo

The intrigue: It was done by tattoo artist Roxx, whose tattoo style has become all the rage for celebrities like Ricky Martin, Adam Lambert and others.

• Roxx is based in Los Angeles. Her large, geometric patterns done in black ink began gaining attention in the early 2010s.

What they're saying: The motivation for MGK's piece, which covers up many of his previous tattoos, remains unknown for now.

• He removed all of his previous Instagram photos and captioned the image of the new tattoo with "for spiritual purposes only."
