A historic train station in Newark, Delaware, appears to be serving as a stand-in for Charlotte, North Carolina in the upcoming film "Unaccompanied Minor," the Newark Post reports.
Context: The movie stars comedian Matt Rife and is directed by David Dobkin, who also directed "Wedding Crashers."
- The road trip comedy follows Rife's character, a flight attendant more interested in partying than his job. Rife is tasked with escorting a young teenager to his final destination.
- Flight trouble forces the pair to travel hundreds of miles together.
What's next: It's unclear when the film will be released, but we'll be watching for Charlotte's stand-in.
The big picture: Filming routinely takes place in locations outside of where a project is set. "The Hunting Wives," for instance, is set in Texas but filmed its first two seasons in the Charlotte area.
