Rooftop restaurant and cocktail lounge opening soon in Concord

Zoom in: The new restaurant is led by husband-and-wife duo Krushani and Ronak Patel that are behind another Concord concept called Red Chillez Indian Restaurant.

What to expect: The menu will feature elevated American dishes like shareable flatbreads, gourmet burgers, wings, cauliflower wings, pasta and salads.

• Drinks will include tropical and classic cocktails, plus mocktails.

The vibe: The 3,085-square-foot space is located above the seven story NOVI Lofts on Union Street, offering views of downtown.

• It'll have 2,062 square feet of indoor space and a 1,023-square-foot rooftop patio.

What's next: The Union Sky, around the corner from 1122 Coffee Co., is aiming to open in August or September at 26 Union St.
