Taj House, an Indian restaurant, is now open in the former Big Ben and Carpe Diem space.
Dig in: Expect curry dishes and rice bowls for lunch. For dinner, the menu expands with tandoori dishes like Tandoori Lamb Chops and Tandoori Lobster, plus biryanis including Hyderabadi Goat Biryani and Royal Dum Chicken Biryani.
Drinks include nine cocktails, like their mango rum lassi and a chai espresso martini. They also have mocktails, beer and wine.
What we ordered: Chicken 65 over rice bowl ($14) which is crispy deep-fried chicken with curry leaves and green chilies over Jeera rice.
We also tried the Chicken Tikka Masala ($15) and Goat Curry ($17) which comes with basmati rice and butter naan plus either a soup or salad.
