Guard and Grace, a popular steakhouse from Denver, will open in South End this fall.
Why it matters: The 10,224-square-foot restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, private dining rooms and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace with panoramic skyline views. On Tuesday, TAG Restaurant Group released new renderings of the space.
Catch up quick: Guard and Grace will open on the 10th floor of Queensbridge Collective at 1111 South Tryon St.
- Charlotte will be the third destination for the Denver-based restaurant, which expanded to Houston in 2019.
- Its menu will feature steak and seafood dishes, house-made charcuterie, seasonal vegetarian options, wine and cocktails.
Zoom out: Queensbridge Collective is rising on the former site of Midnight Diner and Uptown Cabaret.
- The development includes a 42-story apartment tower and a planned 35-story office tower, positioning the area as a new gateway between Uptown and South End.
What's next: Ahead of the opening, Chef Guard is teaming up with Charlotte chefs for preview events.
