Hundreds of boats return to the Charlotte Convention Center this weekend.
Why it matters: The annual Mid-Atlantic Boat Show, happening Feb. 5-8, brings one of the region's largest boating events to Uptown.
What to expect: More than 400 boats from cruisers to pontoons on display, plus hands-on demos and expert advice on maintenance, upgrades and boating basics.
If you go: Tickets are $10-$12 for ages 13 and up, $9 for seniors ages 62 and up and free for children under 12 years old.
It'll run from 12-8pm Thursday and Friday, 10am-8pm Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday at 501 S College St.
