Charlotte's top Feb. events: Black History Month to Broadway shows

February may be the shortest month of the year, but Charlotte isn't taking it easy with big events.

What to expect: From Broadway tours and major concerts to beer festivals, professional wrestling and Black History Month programming, this month's calendar is stacked.

Feb. 3-8: "The Outsiders" at Belk Theatre. | Times vary

Feb. 3-15: "In Pour Taste," a comedy wine tasting experience at Blume Studios. | Times vary

Feb. 5: Groovers CLT grand opening in South End. | 8pm

Feb. 6: WWE Smackdown at Spectrum Center. | 7:30pm

Feb. 7: Queen City Brewers Festival at Tipsy Pickle. | 12-3pm

Feb. 10: Nine Inch Nails at Spectrum Center. | 8pm

Feb. 11: Hornets vs. Atlanta Hawks (throwback night) at Spectrum Center. | 7pm

Feb. 13-14: Moos & Brews (meet and greet with Highland cows) at the Whitewater Center. | 5-8pm

Feb. 14-15: Oddities and Curiosity Expo at Charlotte Convention Center. | Times vary

Weekends through February, the Black and Brilliant series at Carolina Theatre will feature a lineup of six award-winning films (think "Sinners" and "Dreamgirls") and live music spotlighting Black stories, characters and artists in honor of Black History Month. | Times vary
