A Novant Health primary care clinic will complete the tenant lineup at Sadler Square, a redeveloped shopping center in Davidson that was once the longtime home of grocer Healthy Home Market.
Why it matters: Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, the now-fully leased center blends restaurants, retail, wellness and health care.
Catch up quick: Piedmont Capital purchased Sadler Square, which is right around the corner from the town's Main Street, in February 2024 and asked existing tenants to vacate later that year in order to rehabilitate the property, according to Lake Norman Publications.
- The nearly 40,000-square-foot building, originally constructed in 1979, underwent extensive upgrades, including new facades, plumbing and sewer lines, a new roof, and updated landscaping.
Driving the news: Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians Antiquity will relocate from Cornelius to Sadler Square later this year, completing the tenant lineup.
- The new healthcare center will provide primary care services for patients of all ages, including annual physicals, vaccines, on-site lab tests and sick visits.
- It's expected to open in Q3 of this year, a Novant Health representative confirmed to Axios.
