Sycamore co-owner accused of raping child, breaking into Stanly County home

• He was issued a $10 million bond and charged with statutory rape of a child, first-degree burglary and indecent liberties with a child, court records show.
• The Stanly County Sheriff's Office said the parents called 911 and reported an "unknown man" in their teenager's bedroom. When deputies arrived, they found Brigham naked inside a car and arrested him.

What they're saying: "Effective immediately, I am assuming full leadership of the company. Justin is divesting all of his interest and will have no further involvement," Sycamore co-founder and owner Sarah Taylor wrote in a statement on Instagram.

The big picture: Sycamore is one of Charlotte's most successful breweries, with a Cotswold location and other regional expansions in the works.
