Once the wedding venue is secured, many brides turn their focus to one of the most personal — and most photographed — decisions of all: choosing the dress.
Why it matters: Tariffs are driving up wedding costs, so it could be worth it to shop around before saying "yes" to the gown.
By the numbers: Wedding dresses cost an average of $2,100 in the U.S., according to wedding planning and registry site The Knot.
Yes, but: Some local bridal services like Treasured Brides host quarterly pop-up shops with gowns ranging from $99–$399. The next pop-up is Oct. 4 from Noon–5pm.
Here are 10 locally owned bridal boutiques in the Charlotte area, with details on dress prices at each. We've also rounded up a list of recommended spots for alterations.
Of note: This is not a full list of all the bridal shops in the area and they are listed in no particular order.
