Distro Beer Hub, a new beer hall, opens in South End on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Why it matters: Distro Beer Hub includes Charlotte-based Heist Brewery and Divine Barrel Brewing, Asheville's DSSOLVR and Winston-Salem's Incendiary Brewing.
What to expect: There are five stalls — one for each brewery, plus one for a cocktail bar that serves cocktails, wine, THC beverages and non-alcoholic options like mocktails. Each bar has seats, and there are also tables throughout the space.
- There's room for roughly 350 people inside and approximately 150 people outside between the front and back patios. Dogs are welcome on the patio.
- There are 33 TVs with the possibility to add more for game days.
Dig in: The menu includes massive wraps ($16-$18), sushi ($10-$18) and plenty of shareable items like nuggets, fries, tots and hummus.
- You can order food at any bar and pick it up at the service station located between Heist's stall and DSSOLVR's stall. You'll be notified that your order is ready via text.
What's next: Future phases are already planned for Distro Beer Hub, including a beer garden, production brewery for potential collaborations and future event space.
If you go: Distro Beer Hub is at 2412 Distribution St. Opening week hours are: Sept. 17-18 from 4pm-10pm, Sept. 19 from 4pm-12am and Sept. 20 from 11am-12am.
- Normal hours will be 11am-10pm Sunday through Thursday and 11am-12am. Friday and Saturday.
- There's street parking near Distro Beer Hub.
