The team behind Canopy Cocktails and Charlotte Beer Garden has taken over the bar inside Optimist Hall.
Why it matters: The Bar operates in the spot previously occupied by Spindle Bar, which closed in the spring, along with Billy Sunday — filling a void for craft cocktails at the sprawling food hall.
Details: The menu features cocktails, frozen beverages, draft and canned beer, wine, and N/A drinks.
The Bar will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm and will stay open until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
ESO will serve pasta dishes and sides like fried risotto balls, Italian meatballs and Sicilian fried chicken in the old Collier Candy Co. spot, between Schreiber's on Rye and Zukku Sushi.
