Found. is a new thrift shop that recently opened next door to Happy Camper's former consumption lounge on North Davidson Street.
Why it matters: Owners Clinton and Jeremy Love teamed up with Happy Camper owner Michael Angelicola to create a new boutique offering popular brands at a lower price point than their existing luxury shop, Street Commerce, located near Uptown.
- "Fashion should be affordable," said Clinton, adding that many thrift shops overcharge for trendy labels.
What to expect: Inside Found. you'll find budget-friendly men's and women's clothing with price tags as low as $8 and the most expensive items in the store being priced at $70-$100.
- Expect some early 2000s vintage plus brands like Anthropologie, Reformation, Stussy, Supreme, Madewell, Levi's and Diesel.
- They also have shoes and accessories including jewelry, glasses and belts.

What they're saying: Love tells Axios that other popular secondhand shops like Plato's Closet and Uptown Cheapskate missed the mark on creating a useful shopping experience.
- "We're trying to elevate the thrifting environment and make it more affordable for people," Love said. "At other shops, you have to hunt through a lot of stuff — but here, it'll all be good stuff," he adds.

The vibe: The 1,000-square-foot store, which includes a few dressing rooms, has a vibe that Clinton compares to a secondhand shop in Brooklyn.
- The store is stocked with 1,500 items, 70–80% of which are women's clothing, with the remainder consisting of men's and unisex apparel.

Zoom in: You'll have to schedule an appointment Tuesday through Friday to sell clothing from your closet to Found.
- They won't accept most fast fashion brands like SHEIN, but they will accept goods from other popular retailers such as Zara and H&M.
Stop by: Found. is at 3100 N Davidson St., near Sprinkle and RiCkO's Churro Bar.
- It's open Tuesday through Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 11am-7pm.
What's next: Found. owners hope to open more locations near UNC Charlotte and Pineville.
