Somewhere CLT, a new hookah lounge and bar on The Plaza, opens Friday, June 27.
Why it matters: The new late-night spot, situated between Plaza-Shamrock and Villa Heights, caters exclusively to a 25+ crowd.
What to expect: An indoor-outdoor venue with handcrafted cocktails, flavored hookah, rotating food trucks and a dog-friendly patio.
- There'll be a mix of themed nights through the week, including tacos and turkey ribs on Tuesdays, karaoke Thursdays and Caribbean Sundays, with a live DJ and food truck.
The vibe: Owner Kennan Howard says the 25+ age limit was intentional and is meant to create a more responsible and mature environment.
If you go: Friday's grand opening starts at 8pm. Expect food, drinks and different flavored hookah.
- There's no cover unless it's a private event.
