Seoul Food Meat Co. is celebrating its second anniversary at its Optimist Park location tomorrow.
What to expect: The family-friendly party will be rodeo-themed with a mechanical bull, a petting zoo, a karaoke contest and $1 beer from LaBARatory.
Zoom in:LaBARatory, the bar inside Urban District Market (across from Seoul Food), is now an operational brewery and will eventually distill its own soju (AKA "Korean vodka").
The first brew will be a rice lager. Eventually, they'll add more Asian flavors to the mix, like persimmon and muscadine grapes.
If you go: The anniversary party is from 12pm to close. The party will continue into Seoul Food South End (1400 S Church St.) for those who can't get enough karaoke.
