The Wafflery reopens today in the Belmont neighborhood.
Context: The Wafflery, by the owner of Mattie's Diner, opened last summer but closed four months later because of construction issues.
"The community has been great," owner Matt King tells Axios. "We've just been working hard to get it back open. Now we just need people to come out and support us again."
What to expect: The fast-casual restaurant specializes in B-Y-O waffles, biscuits and grits. It also has a full bar. Each month they have a special waffle — this month's is a banana pudding waffle.
