How to see Former President Barack Obama in Charlotte

Former President Barack Obama is visiting Charlotte on Friday, Oct. 25, to campaign for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, the Democratic presidential and vice presidential candidates, respectively. The ticketed rally is open to the public. You can request a ticket here, but it doesn't guarantee admission.

Why it matters: This is the first campaign stop this election cycle in Charlotte for Obama, the only Democratic presidential candidate to win North Carolina in the last 20 years.

Between the lines: The time and location of the event will only be shared with those who get a ticket, the Observer noted.

Obama will also talk about the importance of early voting during the rally, per WBTV.

Zoom out: Charlotte is the latest rally in a wave of swing-state stops — which also include Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Milwaukee — for the former president.
