Former Carolina Panthers star wide receiver DJ Moore has listed his Lake Wylie estate for $5 million.
Why it matters: Listings like this are a bittersweet reminder to fans that a favorite player is gone. Moore's two touchdowns for the Chicago Bears in their win against the Panthers earlier this month also hammered that home.
- Earlier this year, former Panthers standout Christian McCaffrey, who now plays for the San Francisco 49ers, also listed his lakefront mansion.
Catch up quick: The Panthers drafted Moore in 2018. He was part of a trade with the Bears in 2023 that helped the Panthers secure the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft. They selected quarterback Bryce Young.
Layout: Moore's 9,757-square-foot mansion sits on a gated 3.9-acre property with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
- It has an open floor plan, quartzite countertops, a spacious patio and large windows throughout the home.
- The primary suite has a recently installed large custom closet with lighting, soaking tub, double entry shower plus a private expansive balcony with a fireplace.
Entertaining features: Inside you'll find a gym and home theater. Outdoor highlights include a pool and an in-ground trampoline.
Flashback: Moore bought the home for $5 million in June 2022 using a trust called Land of Dreams, public records show.
Tracy Davis of Ivester Jackson Properties and Christie's International Real Estate has the listing.
