Drake Maye will get his shot as a starting quarterback in the NFL today when the New England Patriots host the Houston Texans, per multiple reports.
Catch up quick: The Myers Park High alum and former North Carolina Tar Heels star was selectedby the New England Patriots third overall in the first round of the NFL draft earlier this year.
He replaces veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett, an N.C. State alum, who led the Patriots to a 1-4 start to the season.
