👟 Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball kicked off a multi-city tour for the release of his latest shoe: MB.04 sneaker. It started at a YMCA in Charlotte and will include stops in Atlanta, Miami and New York City, per a press release.
PUMA and Ball will also drop a new colorway (baby blue) of his LaFrancé 1:1.

🖊 Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles and Mecklenburg County Commissioner Leigh Altman, chair of the Metropolitan Transit Commission, wrote in a joint opinion piece they believe permission for a transit sales tax referendum from the General Assembly "is now within our grasp."
