Where to tailgate, pregame and park for the Panthers playoff game

Carolina Panthers fans have something to cheer for—a home playoff game for the first time in nearly a decade.
Driving the news: The Panthers host the Los Angeles Rams at 4:30pm on Saturday, Jan. 10. Former NFL MVP and Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is expected to bang the Keep Pounding drum on the field ahead of the game.
Zoom in: The Keep Pounding drum is also making its way around the city leading up to the game to hype up fans before the game. Friday stops include Harris Teeter at Rea Farms from 3-4pm and The Bowl at Ballantyne from 6-7:30pm. There will be giveaways.

How to get there
The CityLYNX Gold Line Streetcar and the Lynx Blue Line both have stops that are within walking distance of the stadium.

Roaring Riot tailgate
Roaring Riot, which local fan Zack Luttrell founded in 2008, has become a massive global community for Panthers fans, from traveling to away games to tailgates for home games. The tailgate starts at noon.
- Former NFL MVP and Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who is expected to bang the Keep Pounding drum on the field ahead of the game, will record his "4th & 1" podcast at the tailgate from 12:30-2pm.
- Tailgate access is free for members and costs $30 per person for nonmembers. Proceeds from the tailgate will benefit Newton's foundation.

Pantherfanz tailgate
- Charlotte's longest-running tailgate starts at 10am. It's free to attend, but there will be a tip jar on the food table and bar. There will be a raffle to raise money for breast cancer, music, food, and a lot of "KEEP POUNDING!"
Address: 601 S. Cedar St., behind and up the hill from Clutch bar, under the Bank of America sign. You'll see a Panther-themed fire truck.
VIP Tailgate
The Panthers will host a VIP Tailgate before home games on the South Lawn near Morehead Street. Your ticket includes food by the Fahrenheit team and drinks at the tailgate. Doors open at 1:30pm. The tailgate opens three hours before kickoff and ends at kickoff.
- It's open to all ages and free for kids ages 8 and under.
- Tickets for fans ages 9-17 are $65 and $130 for adults. You can also purchase a combo ticket for the tailgate and the game for $281.
The Dog House tailgate
The Dog House opens at noon. WFNZ will broadcast live at their Uptown tailgate. There will be food trucks and a DJ. The Dog House will be open before, during and after the game. It will also show the game.

The GOATS of Tailgating
The ticketed event will have food, drinks and hookah.
Address: Corner of West 4th Street and South Graham Street.
Bud Light Backyard
The team's fan zone opens at 12:30pm. A concert headlined by country music artist and North Carolina native Cooper Alan kicks off at 2:45pm.

Where to pregame near the stadium
Multiple businesses around town will show the game and have food and drink specials. Below are three options within walking distance of the stadium.
Clutch is located directly behind Bank of America Stadium and next to the practice fields. It’s transforming its downstairs into an experience called Overtime for Panthers home games, with a day-club vibe.

What to eat at the stadium
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette helped create a raccoon-inspired sandwich with Levy, Bank of America Stadium's hospitality partner. The "Masked Bandit" is slow-smoked brisket, melted cheese and Carolina coleslaw on a "raccoon" roll.
