Style in 3 words: Traditional, vibrant, bright.

Who: Concept building and Restoration worked to elevate the architecture while interior designer Alexis Warren worked to brighten up the spaces. 

The house: This 1910’s Dilworth bungalow is 2,000 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. 

Design: The starting point on renovations began with keeping all of the original charm of this bungalow. Updates to the home — including finishes, colors and millwork — were made with original style in mind.

• The furnishings and pops of color were chosen as a reflection of the young vibrant family living within.

Inspiration: Additional storage and closet space can be rare in Historic Dilworth homes so additional cabinetry and closets were important to utilizing every inch of space.

• For example, they converted the existing laundry room into a walk-in closet. It flows right off the bathroom. They added a small laundry room, too. 

Best rooms: The bright open concept kitchen has become the highlight of this home. The open view provides sight throughout the front of the home and playroom to the kitchen.
