Black Boy Exhibit at 9.18.9 Studio Gallery

Why you should go: This mixed-media collection explores the complexities of growing up Black. The works by local artist Gil Horne, Jr. are deeply personal and designed to portray to Black boys in a different light.
Mobile Photography with Skillpop

Why you should go: Step up your social media game with this virtual mobile photography class. Blogger and photographer, Chrissie Nelson Rotko will teach you the essentials of smartphone photography including composition, lighting, and editing. Rooftop Workout with Sculpt Method

Why you should go: Fall is here, and The Music Yard is rolling out its fall drive-in concert series. There will also be music from Wilmington-based electronic artist Dredlok, and saxophonist/ DJ Clark on the Sax.

JUSTICE exhibition premiere by SouthEnd ARTS

Why you should go: SouthEnd ARTS presents JUSTICE, the first in a series of virtual art gallery exhibitions. The premiere will feature a diverse cast of creators and artists, including Tommie Robinson, one of Charlotte’s most influential Black artists.
The Haunted Trail at “Scarrigan” Farms

Why you should go: Grab your face mask (spooky or not) and prepare to be scared. In October, Carrigan Farms is transformed into the scariest haunted trail in the region. Not recommended for children under 12 and face masks are required.
