If you’ve been missing concerts this year, good news – Charlotte Motor Speedway is hosting live drive-in concerts this fall (!!). Snag a ticket to the Quinn XCII + Chelsea Cutler show happening Friday, September 25 or the Chris Janson + Mitchell Tenpenny show on Saturday, September 26.

U-Pick Pumpkins at Cotton Hill Farms: Go pumpkin picking on the largest pumpkin farm in South Carolina. U-Pick will be offered every weekend through October 10. Prices vary. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details.

Society Social x Estelle Colored Glass Pop-up at Atherton Mill: Stop by Society Social in Atherton Mill today or tomorrow to check out the much-buzzed-about Southern start-up, Estelle Colored Glass. The pop-up features a curated selection of hand-blown colored cake plates and stemware. Prices vary. Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Details.

Mecktober Fest at Olde Mecklenberg Brewery: OMB is hosting its 12th annual Mecktoberfest — Charlotte’s most popular Oktoberfest celebration. Enjoy live music in the 10.5-acre Biergarten and authentic German-fare such as pork schnitzel, German potato salad, and Bavarian pretzels with Copper bier cheese. Mint Museum Re-opening Weekend: The Mint Museum Uptown and The Mint Museum Randolph reopen to the public starting today, and to celebrate there will be live music at both locations along with new artwork to explore. Free. Times vary. Details.

Fall Farm Fun at Shelby Corn Maze: Enjoy classic fall attractions like an 8-acre pumpkin patch and cornfield. Other activities include hayrides, a jumping pillow, and apple launching. $10+. 4-10 p.m. Details.

Virtual Cooking Class with Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen: In this Greek-inspired cooking class, Chef Alyssa will show you how to prepare dolmades and spiced Seared lamb steak with tomato chutney, feta cheese, and fall greens. International Truck of Tacos at Southern Range Brewing Co.: Head over to Southern Range Brewing for authentic, homemade-style Mexican food from The International Truck of Tacos (ITOT) and 60’s rock from local music group Distillery Cats. Free to attend. 5-9 p.m. Details.

Handlettered Pumpkins with SkillPop: It’s officially fall, which means it’s time to bring out the pumpkins. In this virtual class, artist Caitlin Baumberger will teach you hand lettering techniques specific to 3D surfaces, and help you apply those techniques to the word or phrase of your choice for your pumpkin. $20. 5-6:30 p.m. Details.

Brazilian BBQ at Salty Parrot Brewing Company: Head to Salty Parrot Brewing for a delicious Brazilian-style barbecue and 25 percent off their signature beer towers. 5-9 p.m. Details.

Lua Flora at Camp North End: Head out to Camp North End to hear Asheville music group Lua Flora perform on Keswick Stage. The Reggae, World Folk group has opened for bands such as Satsang and Dangermuffin. Free to attend. 6 p.m. Details.

Speedway Drive-In Concert Series: Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Enjoy back-to-back nights of live music at the Charlotte Motor Speedway with Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler for night one. Max six people per vehicle. Outside food and beverage permitted. $130+ per vehicle. Gates open at 6 p.m., show at 8:30 p.m. Details.

What I Did Last Summer by Theatre Charlotte: Experience the live production of What I Did Last Summer, a warm-hearted memory play set in a well-to-do vacation colony on the shores of Lake Erie during the end of World War II. Masks are required. $17.50 adult, $15.00 student. 6 p.m. Details.

Ballantyne Drive-In Movie Series: The BFG (Big Friendly Giant): The Northwood Office is starting a Ballantyne Drive-In Movie Series and the first screening will be The BFG (2016) based on the classic 1982 children’s book by Roald Dahl. There will be music, from the Maki Taco food truck, and other activities starting at 6 p.m. in the Cullman Park Building Parking Lot. The movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. $30 per vehicle. 6-9:30 p.m. Details.

Sounds on the Square featuring Jason Jet and Christian Johnson Spirit Square: Head out to Spirit Square on College Street to hear comedian Christian Johnson followed by indie-soul artist, Jason Jet. This is an outdoor event and socially distanced seating will be available for the first 50 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by card only. A live stream of this event will be shared on the Blumenthal Facebook page. Free. 7-10 p.m. Details.

The Groove Yard feat. Marvel Years at The Music Yard: Retro-funk artist Marvel Years is going to turn The Music Yard into The Groove Yard. He’ll be joined by the up and coming electro-soul artist Phyphr with opening support from Charlotte’s own kckbck. $70+ per vehicle. 7-10:30 p.m. Details.

Laugh at Lenny Lenny Boy Brewing Co.: Have a laugh and a beer at Lenny Boy Brewing Co. This outdoor, socially distanced comedy show will have a line up of some of North Carolina’s best comedians. Seating in groups of two and four, all spaced six feet apart. Free. 8-10 p.m. Details.

“MOOvies” on the Farm at Patterson Farm: The MOOvies on the Farm series continues with this week’s screening of The Lion King. Enjoy a movie under the stars and farm concession favorites like kettle corn, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and mini doughnuts. $5.35+. 8-10 p.m. Details.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Drive-In feat. Chris Janson & Mitchell Tenpenny: The Charlotte Motor Speedway Drive-In series continues with live performances from country music artists Chris Janson and Mitchell Tenpenny. The concert will be screened on the speedway’s 16,000 square foot video board. $100+. Details.
